Ludwig Holleis

Biography

I did my under graduate and MSc degree in Physics and applied and engineering Physics at TU Munich. During my studies I focused on CMX, specifically on the spin liquid candidate RuCl3. After graduation I worked at the Max-Planck of Chemical Physics of Solids developing a portable, pulsed, high-field magnet.

Research

I am currently working with Prof. Young on van-der-Waals heterostructures. I am developing an integrated thermometry method and measure thermodynamic porperties of the quantum Hall effect in graphene.
